My Favorite Black-Owned Natural Hair Products & Brands

#ShopBlackOwned: These are my favorite black-owned natural hair products at the moment. Shop my natural hair brand Joiful Bee at http://joifulbee.com

Hey guys, it's Joi here, and today we're discussing hair products that are black-owned that I highly recommend. My hair is in a protective style right now. My hair type is type 4 hair, and I have coily kinky curls, so these products work great on my hair. I also want to know what products and brands you guys love that are black own. So comment down below what brands you love.

Miche Beauty

The first brand that I wanted to talk about is Miche Beauty. You guys have seen me review Miche Beauty and it's black own. A hair YouTuber started it, and I have two products that I love. The first product we're going to talk about is the leave-in conditioner. It melts like butter in my hair. Oh my god. It's like the OG of leavin conditioners. She also has an awesome deep conditioner. The whole line is actually bomb. But these were the two I want you guys to check out.

I follow Miche Beauty on Instagram, and they always show employees hand-making their products. They don't shortcut with the quality of the ingredients they use. You can tell that these ingredients are packed with aloe leaf juice, rosemary, chamomile, and castor oil. You should check out their products.

Mielle Organics

A new product that I've been trying for the past couple of weeks is the Mielle Organics. I tried their pomegranate line for type 4 hair, and I love all the products in that line. If you're going to try out something by Mielle Organics, check out the pomegranate shampoo. I think it's a great shampoo that is reliable and isn't going to dry out your hair. It helps start the detangling process, and it's going to make your hair smell good. The scent is the perfect balance of having a fruity scent but not being overpowering.

True by Made Beautiful

So let's get into my OG edge control. It is the True by Made Beautiful hydrating edge gel. By Made Beautiful is a black-owned brand. I had to double-check before I made this video because of how much I like using this gel. It lasted me a very long time. The gel smells like pineapple and does not flake. It's perfect for edges, and there is no build-up. The gel will slick things down, and then at the end of the day, your hair is moisturized. I'm blown away every time I use this. The hold is medium, which is great for doing puffs and ponytails. I am obsessed with this gel because it does not smell like chemicals.

Melanin Haircare

The last two items I wanted to show you are oils. Well, not the last but the last two products, then we're going to get into hair tools. The first is by Melanin Haircare, which is Whitney, aka natural 85 haircare line. If you don't want to have a million different oils in your cabinet, you can get this one. This has sweet almond oil, avocado oil, jojoba seed oil, argan oil, sage oil, vitamin E oil, baobab oil. It also smells great. This is perfect right after wash day when your hair is still wet and can seal in all that moisture. You can use it on your scalp. I highly recommend because even though her line is a little higher price, you're getting all those oils in 1 product thing versus buying individual oils.

Moisture Love

Another great oil is by the brand Moisture Love. Moisture Love finishing oil is great for your scalp. I put it on my scalp every day as part of my nightly routine because of the protective style I'm wearing. The consistency of applying has been helping my hair grow. It has marshmallow and horsetail leaves and blends of avocado, argan, macadamia, castor, and rice bran oils. It has a low key scent of marshmallow, so it smells super good. I love the scents of all the products in her line.

Hair Tools

Let's get into hair tools! You know I cannot make a hair tool recommendation without recommending my natural hair brand, Joiful Bee. It's my hair care brand focused on innovative natural hair tools for women with natural hair. My hair brand Joiful Bee has a signature kit, and it's called the Perfect Wash Day Kit, which includes five essential hair tools to help you establish a consistent hair routine. It shortens the time of your wash day and makes wash day not feel like a chore. There are five items in here, and I'll have them linked down below. They're available for pre-order right now for the 3rd launch. So definitely get your hands on one of these because they've been selling out fast every time I've launched. This time I'm doing a pre-order, so people can guarantee they're getting their hands on one. There's a scalp massaging shampoo brush, a microwavable deep conditioning heat cap, my signature honeycomb detangling brush, a microfiber towel, and a continuous spray bottle. So those are the five things that come in the perfect wash day kit. So make sure you check it out at JoifulBee.com. Obviously, Joiful Bee is black-owned because it's my company.

So I hope you guys enjoyed all of the products in this black-owned hair care video. I thought it was very appropriate with everything going on and everyone wanting to support black owned businesses. I want to make sure you guys know where to go to get black own hair care. Check the link in the description box. And I'll talk to you guys next time. Bye.
